Q: Tell us a bit about your new show Connor Undercover.

A: The show’s a big crazy adventure filled with spies, bad guys, action and lots of excitement. Kids will really want to tune in because there’s always something different happening — new missions, new characters, new adventures. Every time we get a script, and I read it I think, “Oh wow, I can’t believe we’re going to get to do this.”

Q: Who is ‘Connor Heath’?

A: He’s an intense, passionate, kinda goofy spy wannabe — on the way to becoming a real spy. He’s very focused on the task at hand. And he takes it seriously, it’s not a joke to him, this is what he wants to do so he goes for it 100%. He’s the go-getter.

Q: Describe ‘Connor’ and ‘Gisela’s’ relationship.

A: They start off oil and water. ‘Connor’s’ just a normal city kid who’s living an ordinary life and then you have Gisela — the daughter of a president and who’s used to the lap of luxury. And now she has to do dishes, and vacuuming, and keep her room clean … so they start out as wildly different people who don’t see things the same. But over time they grow to become allies.

Q: What’s the thing that ‘Connor’ can’t live without?

A: He can’t live without his passion for being a spy, because that comprises who he is. And if he doesn’t have that intensity and drive, then he’s just a normal kid. But his passion is what separates him from all the others… he’s a spy, it’s what he’s about.

Q: Of all the gadgets ‘Connor Heath’ has, what would be the one you’d want to take on a desert island and what would you use it for?

A: It would have to be my GPS locator. Because I use it to find things, but also, it’s connected to a transponder. So if anyone was looking for me they could just check it out and go, “Oh, he’s in the middle of the Pacific — great — we should go get him.”

Q: Is there anything like this show on right now?

A: Best way I can describe this is it’s like Mission Impossible meets Cody Banks meets awesome.
